Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health Care Assistant to join our dynamic Agency team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients and contribute to the overall efficient operation of the healthcare facility. You will work closely with healthcare professionals, assisting in the delivery of high-quality care to patients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong sense of empathy, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide personal care to patients, including hygiene assistance, feeding, and mobility support. 2. Assist nurses and healthcare professionals in conducting patient assessments and treatments. 3. Monitor and record patient vital signs, reporting any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse. 4. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to health and safety regulations. 5. Support patients and their families by addressing inquiries and providing emotional support. 6. Manage and restock medical supplies and equipment, ensuring availability for patient care.

Skills & Experience

1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in healthcare or patient care is a plus. 2. Minimum of 2-year experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a hospital or clinic environment. 3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. 4. Basic understanding of medical terminology and healthcare practices. 5. Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations with professionalism and composure. 6. CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
